When I do my LO manifold swap (just need to get the adapter), I'm planning on making a block of plate for the egr to be on the safe side once it's removed. Since there's no way to get around removing the EGR, I just wanted to make sure the car will run OK with it gone. I can ignore the CEL (I'm used to it), I'm just wondering if any codes or the eger being gone will adversly affect anything, or if I'll be good to go. Thanx guys.
mine runs good without it on there, i have a code scanner and i usually just clear out the code when i start it so i can see if something else tries to go wrong. so though i am going to try and make a bracket and other peices to make EGR work again.
Just don't have your car emissions tested with it out
