has anyone done this swap? I've heard the engine mounts don't line up or something like that. Then I also Heard the 2.4 manual trans will work with the LGO

I like how smooth the 2.4 is with the balance shafts.

I had a 90' GTZ once upon a time and it was a fun engine kinda reminded me of a chainsaw.

The 086 head comes standard on the LGO's right?

1989-1992 if im not mistaken..after that they started using differnt heads and the hp went down

does anyone know where i could get a ecm and pcm for the 2.3

also can you find aftermarket cams, and computer chips for them

you mean your looking for a pcm to run the HO in your 3rd gen? from what i can tell..the pcm and engine bay wiring from a 1995 manual Z or GT work best..that year the car came with a quad so everything is set up to run it already..its just plug and play basically

Ya thats true... but it wasn't the HO LGO in the 95's I wonder if the pcm could handle the numbers

well..i have a 95..and i did my first swap to the HO 2 years ago..and i used alll stock wiring and pcm to begin...upgraded chips and such later, so let me tell you first hand the 95 pcm and wiring will run an HO quad just fine
