an anyone here help me with hookin up my msd dis 2 ignition i have a 1998 cavalier 2.2 non eco i got the msd coils and ignition modules any help or pictures would be appreciated thanks jeff
It probably won't work with your DIS setup.
With the ICM or ignition control module being underneath the coil packs, you'd have to remove the DIS coils, relocate them using the MSD coilpack adaptors, and then configure a harness to attach to the relocated coil packs.
If you remove the DIS coils from the ICM, you'll see 4 connections or two for each DIS coil.
Two of the connections are the return line while one of the connections is the 1/4 trigger, and the other the 2/3 trigger.
If you can decipher this picture, you'll see the part showing you the 1/4 and 2/3 connections off of the ICM.
The place where you see it saying, "connects to B2 internal connections" is the common return for both the 1/4 and 2/3 triggers.
The "internally connections" are labeled for the 1/4 and 2/3 triggers you need to hookup to your DISII MSD unit.
Here's the pic.
The above is the only way you'll be able to hook up an MSD DISII to your car.
If anyone else knows of another way, please post it up.

Thank you Dave and JBO!

I have DIS2, coils, and adapters from Adler's 2200, but I haven't put them on my car yet.
