Would an H.O. manifold with a 75mm corvette TB work on a stock 2.4?
Would it be a waste of time or would there be a difference?

do you have any other mods done to the car?

if not it will decrease performance.TB is too big.

The ho manifold is a good mod, but 75mm is way too big for a stock ld9. Just pick up a stock 2.3 tb as well since you can get them realy cheap, they are 56mm. Or you could have a shop or somewhere bore your stocker out to like 58mm and have a new plate made.

for the 75mm you will need an adapter plate made up (talk to spyhunter as he has something similiar done)

you can pick up a ho manifold with throttle body for around $50-75 cdn around here

I had an ebay company that cuts aluminum do my adapter plate in 1" thick aluminum... I just gave them this, and it came out really nice:

...I drilled the 3 bolt holes myself, though

Edit: I don't know if the vette TB is the same, but the adapter plate is for a 75mm Northstar TB
