i have a 96 sunfire with the 2.2 ohv motor i also have a 99 2.2 ohv motor what all do i need to do to put in the 99 motor the 96 is a 5 speed and the 99 is a 4 speed auto and can my intake and stuff work on the 99 b/c i heard that the sensors were diff
sensors arent different (too much so) but the throttle body'sin a different location, so without some modifcation, it wont fit.

96 is the 2.2 OHV, 99 is the 2200. I believe to make it fit you'll have to find a 99 PCM, and rewire the whole car, right to the tail lights. I have contemplated doing this swap,as I have both engines to my disposal but It's alot of @!#$ around for the same HP numbers. I'm waiting until this spring when I buy another vehicle, then my 97 is coming apart and recieving a 3400.
