I'm relatively new here and like most of you, I'm interested in doing a full exhaust. So far I was thinking:
Pacesetter header -->Magnaflow OBD2 Cat -->
After that, I'm somewhat stuck. I was thinking of doing a Summit Racing or a Magnaflow muffler like:

Something like those. One big muffler at the end, not alot of restriction, but then a quiet exhaust. I'de use whichever tip I'de feel comfortable with then. I just want a quiet car that can have some tone at WOT or in the really high RPMs. I don't want anything that sounds loud really, just something very mild and still give me good gains.
I'm hoping that I can do 2.25 all the way back from the header to the cat, to the big muffler. What do you all think? Will it still sound @!#$ty? Raspy? Loud at regular crusing speeds and at 70MPH? Will I lose alot by doing this?

If you want a quiet exhaust, keep stock. But, if you want to quiet it down and take away rasp get some kind of resonator, the bigger the better.
Go with a pacesetter header,magnaflow cat, 18" or bigger glasspack or something else for a res, then your 2.25 or 2.5" piping to a dynomax superturbo. That a very popular combo with j-bodies lol, but not realy raspy.

Also, is a res always needed? I was hoping to just remedy it with one big muffler.
And be quiet, I feel an exhaust should mostly be heard when you want it too, like my Racing Beat exhaust on my RX. It's quiet until about 4,000, which is fine, considering that's when I'm spooling and ready to go.
