Parts and suggestions? my official 3.4L swap thread

im starting the plan out my engine swap for next summer already!!! horay!

by next summer i hope to be done with the int/ext mods and part of the suspension on the cav. so here is my question to you all.

i have a 2000 base coupe cavalier. im planning on doing a 3.4L v6 swap into it.
my car has 98K miles (projected to be about 110,000 by summer 08)
and a 2.2L automatic 3 speed motor.

i have a 3.4L v6 available with 60K miles on the clock i believe he said it also has a transmission, but it is equipped with a supercharger and ran at 8lbs for the 10K miles it was used. this person has since upgraded to a 3.8L S/C in his 98 cavalier.

heres the question section:
what do i need for this swap (part wise) before getting started?

i was told i wouild need an ECU for my car to work with the supercharger on the 3.4L

(im in the dark with motor swaps, and engine parts in general, but this person said he would be able to help me swap it in. i also have 3 friends who are mechanics and a couple more who have built their own cars before. so i know finding help wont be a problem.

what parts will need to be custom made?

what parts can i use from my car right now? and what parts will i need to upgrade?
injectors? fuel lines? exhaust? radiator? water pump?
please help me out

sorry this is just a getting me started thread. i will continue using this thread for more questions as i get them or think of them.

im assuming this wont be a one day project, im just hoping it will take less than a week or so after i get going.
if i get to the point where i have all of the parts, would anybody (who has done this swap before) be able to assist? i would be willing to pay them to help me get this done.

im trying to get into the engine thing, but for some reason im having a difficult time learning what parts do what, and where parts go (other than the basics)

thanks for the help guys! hopefully i can get this done and have more fun with my J than ever before. im really excited to start learning more about this swap. i will continue reading the FAQ and try to decipher the wording and thoughts into my own style.
