I just got my smg 62mm tb and i have no idea on how to install it. the main thing i dont get is how to move the throttle cable? do i just slip it off or what?
I do believe the cable has a little oval shaped piece of metal at the end that slides into a hole inside of the slot in the throttle. All you have to do is take the tension off the throttle cable by pulling the spring backwards, and it should slip off.

there's a little tab in the bell crank (the black thing) that the cable is pinched in
pry it open slightly with a screwdriver (BE CAREFUL.. JUST ENOUGH to get the cable out)
undo the electrical connections, and pull the tbody off (there's four 10mm bolts)
put the new throttle body on
reconnect the cable and the wires (swap over the sensors if you need to)
ok well ill give it a try thanks a lot
