car dealer problems

if i start modifying my motor and tune my car will my dealer have problems with the ecu when i go in for a tune up or will i just have to turn the car back to a stock tune?

Tune up has nothing to do with the tune.

they should still be able to read the car with a code reader and such. only time they might have a problem with the ECU is if they try to get at it with a tech 2 and you have it tuner locked.

^ You can't tuner lock with HPT on our cars...

All the codes and stuff will still work.

The dealer shouldnt even be diggin that far for a tune up. Unless maybe you have a check engine light but even if they dig into the ECU and see something diff they wont go changing it around w/o your permission. Let alone even wanting to touch it if its altered.
