No one can help you since we don't know what kind of a motor you have.

If u get a crank and alt pulley u will notice some power, MD-LD9 has a group purchase going for alt pulleys, as far as the turbo goes its either spend 2-4K buying a complete kit or about 1500 building your own.

Check boost forum for any turbo/SC questions u have, I'm sure they will help you more than i can.

Yeah, in the group purchase he posted some dynos, one with lightened pulleys and one without, he gained 7 hp and 7ft/lbs of torque with the lightened pulleys..which is a pretty decent amount for the price of the pulleys.

Just Lighter?? or Lighter and Underdrive?? ... there is a difference...

An underdrive wouldnt be a good idea if you are "stereo racer". You know, bumpin sound system. Underdrive slows down the alternator, thus creating less electricity.

Anything lighter and/or under driven is going to give you more horsepower back from the motor. Your not "making" more HP your making the motor more efficient, and freeing up horse power that was used to turn heaver pulleys. Take a 10 pound weight and swing it around, and then take a 5 pound weight and swing it around. It requires less energy to swing the 5 pound weight. Same thing with your motor.

some people do notice problems with sound systems and undriven pulleys others do not. I myself would not take the chance with an underdriven pulley if you have a sound system, i'm in the same boat as you. If it were me purchasing a pulley i'd stray from the undriven at all costs with asound system.

Oh and if i'm correct a capicitor could actually put more drag on the alt. It's a small battery so it's like the alternator has to power two batterys.
