99 Z24, making a clicking noise and its coming from under the hood. not low oil level because i just did an oil change.
clicking noise becomes quieter when the steering wheel is turned while the car is idleing. not sure weather or not it makes a noise while driving cuz of my exhaust.
power steering fluid was low for about a month (made eerrghh noise when you turn the wheel) but then i refilled it but i didnt bleed it. the clicking problem happened about a month after.
any idea's on what it might be? thanks in advance for any help
I don't know what it is, but I know it isn't really a post for the performance forum.
could be a lifter ??
13's or blowning it. wayhttp://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e175/slowfire99/100_0463.jpg
timing chain tensioner, chain is flapping around, turning the wheel puts load on the ps pump in turn pressure on the intake cam, pressure on the chain picking up the slack
I have a 99 z24 and it does the same thing someone said its just the fuel injectors making the clicking noise.
-1999 Cavalier Z24-
timing chain tensioner... nothing else.
