i have a dc sport 4 2 1 header with test pipe into a 2.25 magnaflow dual exhaust i did the cat back sounded good then i did the header and it sounded awful do to not having a resonator i installed one a 18 inch magnaflow resonator and the rasp is still there when i get on it . got any ideas for me but to lwt every one know it sounds amazing!!!! besides what i have left

High flow cat instead of a test pipe and longer resonator should help a bit. Keep the straight through mufflers, no point in adding a header and full exhaust if you're just going to block it up at the end with baffled mufflers.

All correct..
Get a cat back in there and you'll be fine.

i got the same resonator, there is barely any rasp, only a very small bit when i first start it and get on it, otherwise, its perfect

check for exhaust leaks...made my car sound horrible when i had one.
^^
My bad,
I meant, get a high flow cat in there and you'll be ok.
Those cat converters absorb a lot of the sound.

Maybe from inside the car.

FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
hell its prolly loud inside the car...
If you want a non raspy exhaust your gona need a cat and bigger resonator. Im catless using a stans 4-2-1 header, 30" glasspack, and dynomax st and mines not too bad; but of course I have some rasp due to being n/a and having no cat. Mines a bit worse than it should be though, I gotta retighten all my downpipe bolts and use some lock washers.

Cool, been wonderigin if I made the right choice, most people have larger resonators (22") around here and still some raspiness so I was worried I'd have a lot more.
so basically spend doublw what youve already spent.
get a cat....theres no reason for you not to have one. your car is not a racecar. that will help the rasp somewhat.
i have the same setup except the Rk header and i dont think it sounds all that great.
i was referring to the people telling you to replace youre mufflers, resonator ,and cat
