i have a 2001 2.4 liter.
where can i get a turbo that will not blow engine?
no where since you don't know what you're doing. even a small turbo can kill an engine.
research is key here. once you pick a turbo, you can buy them at a number of places
do your homework, and remember.. google is your friend.
Poeple like this should be instantly banned. Ugghhhh....SEARCH!! You obviously don't know what you are doing and need to research as PJ said. This forum is getting littered with stupid threads like this.

2010 Subaru Impreza WRX Limited
1999 Cavalier Z24 Supercharged
1999 Grand AM SE (Beater Car)
1997 GMC Sierra
2007 Honda CBR 600RR
2005 Honda TRX450R
The turbo itself will not blow your engine. Not enough fuel to go with the extra air the turbo is forcing in will. This is why it is so important that you do some research to figure out what you are going to do to provide extra fuel.

Well, if you go on eBay, buy any turbo and just put it in your backseat I promise it will never blow your engine. You just might get that sense of accomplishment while your at it.
i had a GT42R in my car for an hour, never blew it, and that was with my supercharger on it...

I know of at least one person who can prove you wrong.....besides, whats your reasoning behind not being able to put a super and a turbo??

stop. now.
please..?
go read a book. the turbo you buy doesn't determine how much boost you run.
this post belongs in the newb forum
There is a book by Corky Bell I beleive. I do not know the name of it but there is a ton of good info in it from what I have heard. If someone can help him out with the name of it that would be awsome.

the book is called maximum boost.
if you've ever read it, it deals with a lot of things that even some of the most advanced tuners here don't think of. its a book that goes a bit beyond the scope of whats necessary, and definitely above the head of a newb like the OP.
I wouldn't suggest this book until after you have a decent understanding of forced induction.
turbo'd now pj eh?

So, your a newb and your gona try to tell knowledgeable people what is possible and what isnt? I bet you think a supercharger bolts to the exhaust side of your head.

I do...Exhaust manifold to be more precise. You may call it by another name but it is still a supercharger.

What?I dont realy understand what you are trying to say, or are you joking? Superchargers are blet driven, turbochargers are not which Im sure you know.
dictionary.com wrote:supercharger: a mechanism for forcing air into an internal-combustion engine in order to increase engine power.
dictionary.com wrote:turbocharger: a supercharger that is driven by a turbine turned by exhaust gases from the engine.
the full name of a turbo is a turbo supercharger. usually just called turbos, or turbochargers for short.
any kind of forced induction is called supercharging.
^But hardly ANYONE uses the term "supercharger" for turbochargers. These noobs are hilarious, it's almost like Bill and the spare tire all over again.

right. but in pissing contests, semantics are your best weapon =P
but some people have learned a bit of new terminology, and others feel a bit better about themselves, and in general nothing here is accomplished.
