Seen it before... Can't get over how they look like Weber side-draft carbs, like was run on Indy engines of the same size and design type back in the day (50s).

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

it doesn't matter, they won't work anyway.

family I ecotec engines have nothing to do with the family II ecotec engines.. other than their names

ive honestly never understood how these would work... the overal diameters of them all is HUGE, in comparision like over a 100mm TB.. what gives? way too much airflow is what i get out of it.

Dude, if a crotch rocket has them, I want them on my car. Duh, haven't you seen how fast they are? My research has shown that the ITB's are the only reason that they run sub 11 second quarter miles stock. With only like, 140 horsepower. Can't wait till Pauls car is revving at 15k and doing wheelies and stuff.

What differences is there between 2.3 and 2.4 timing chain housings?

I'm pretty sure both the shape/bolt pattern as well as the center gasket shape/bolt pattern.

Edit: Now that I think about it though, you might be able to swap the whole timing chain housing depending on the bolt pattern on the 2.3L block.

also, the 2.3 doesnt have the oil fill neck in the timing chain housing like thre 2.4. its up front and comes up through the runners of the intake manifold, kinda like a 2.2 OHV.

oil fill, PVC hose, timing chan shoes, idler bearing for the pump\pump sprockit. (2.3 pumps are 20 bucks, 2.4, alot more.)

but other than that thay are interchangable.
