Ive got a 1995 Cavalier base model with a blown up 2.2 . i bought it as a parts car ,until i realized its in better shape then my 02 cav. Sorry about that my cpu has issues. i want to swap ether a 2.4, or 3.8 in my 95 cav 2.2ohv which is easier? What do i need to do this swap as drive-train etc ? I also want to go From AUTO-5SPD. i hate slush boxes what do i need for that? Thanks for your time. Have a happy new year i trust you ll stay sober LOL.

Easier would be the 2.4, but since you want to do a trans swap as well, might as well find an OHV 5spd and bolt it to a 3.8
. Something Im pondering now as theres a cheap build turbo 3800 for sale I know about.
the 2.2 ohv trans fits on the 3.8? also which year and GM make do i get the 3.8? thanks
