i remember from a while ago that there were some bearings for the 2200 at napa that were just as good as the clevete bearings does anyone know the part number for the main rod and cam bearings thanks

Yes they are called napa brand I believe and they are clevite. Other then that I dont think I've ever heard of such a thing. Nor would I cheap out on something like engine bearings.

Napa is in with dana corp and felpro. Clevite being a subsidiary with dana corp.

A little off-topic, but rumor has it Clevite 77 are no longer tri-metal?

Not sure. I always thought that they were bi-metal?

Maybe I'm confused? I dont build engines enough...lol

i looked on the napa web site and it says there tri metal
