i just bought a used header, it is just the 4 pipes down to the 3 inch collector. what is the best way to connect the to the factory exhaust? and it has some surface rust, would i be smart to clean it up then high temp spray paint it or what opptions do i have to give it some color?
bump....come on guys its my first time try to do a header....even just a point in the direction f a write up would be greatly appreciated
is it polished s.s.??? if so leave it be no need to paint it if its ceramic go to your local parts store and get some high temp. paint and getta sprayin'!!! note: make sure its 1000 degree or more...
hondas are like tampons.....every pu$$y needs one...
mildly built 99' ln2, eagle h-beam rods, wiseco forged alum. pistons, cusco oil catch, t3/t4 super 60 garret, tial 40 mm wastegate, hp tuners, prothane mount inserts, 2.5" exhaust.
and keep in mind the higher temp paints need to be baked on as well
also what i read earlier (cant find it now) stated that you will need to get a new motor mount and its gonna be some hassle trying to work around getting it in... figured i would throw that out there, search the performance forum for 2.4l header install...

2.4 oil dip stick is in the way....and I think the a coolant line.
I would also recommend motor mounts.
