Stripper Motorsports anyone..

Anybody have any experience with Stripper Motorsports?

Mine has been no good. I ordered a set of Comp cams on Fri 2/15. On Mon they billed my card. They have yet to answer their phones for over a week straight and now it is disconnected. I have sent numerous emails for over a week with no response at all. They have read them but decide not to answer. If you read their full page customer service policy it sounds real good, I wish they would try to follow it. Now I have to fight with the credit card company to get my $468 back. I have never had these issues with any online store.

STRIPPER MOTORSPORTS are ripoffs. With ZERO custermer service skills.

Thanks for listening to my rant....

I think he's upset that there has been zero communication and it seems the company has disapeared in away. Id be a bit concerned myself.

But I hope it all works out for you bro.

Seriously, if someone charges my credit card, then their phone is disconnected, it wouldn't even take me a week to get pissed.

Alex, I'd be calling your credit card company immediately and ask them about having the charge reversed.
Tell them the story. They might say you have to wait a certain amount of time, but they might not.
They may want to act on it before the company closes their merchant account and the charge can't be reversed on their end.

^^^ Yeah, the FIRST sign of something going wrong with an online purchase, you HAVE to start the reversing process right away, otherwise it might be to late....Hopefully it all works out and you don't have to go through with the process, but I was taken for a lot more than that on a similar situation because I did not act fast enough (of course there was communication with the seller who assured me everything was ok). That is also when I learned that paypal is not as secure as they portray, and have MAJOR loopholes in thier claims procedures that can be very easily exploited.

I have to say you did they right thing, and thanks for making everyone aware of it. Keep us updated on the status of it, like if they send your cams....

Good luck

well if it wasnt me that said it, it was going to be someone else.

i see by this companies site they have an Ebay store. so i clicked on it and found out they have a 98.6% feedback.
1989 peope left a postitive feedback. 29 other people left a negative one
most of these 29 complaints is what the original poster said about.
but the positive feedback say they have great service. they ship on time, easy to get ahold of, etc etc. so make up your own mind about them

but seriuosly, next time you want a part for your J-body, order from a company that sells mostly J-body items like Turbo Tech Racing. it be like you are supporting the j-body community

I was also ripped off...only for a $35 gasket thankfully but the guy who owns it is a cocky prick...he is taunting people on myspace to sue him...people got ripped off on full turbo kits and everything and he thinks he can't be touched...I hope somebody nails the f*cker legally or better yet beats his ass into a pulp, I will be first in line just out of principle

the lesson I learned from this is don't use paypal when they can't garauntee your purchase!!!
