I would like to know if there is an interest for a very well made intake for the 2.4. I would be making this all out of USA parts, so it would be made here, no China. I know that there are intakes on ebay for cheap, under $50 and they do work, but they fail after a year or so, they are complete junk also they are made of 2.75 tubing, mine are 3". My intakes would be made out of 6061t6 aluminum tubing, silicone cuplers, silicone hose, ss clamps, all welded brackets and what not. The intake that I have seen out there are WAi, i would be designing a CAI, that goes into the fender. I make intake currently for the ZX2, and the W-body platform. I am guessing the range to be around $200 or a little less, and you can have your option of getting a K&N filter, and powdercoating for extra charge. Here are some pics of the intakes that I have built, all with a +15hp to the crank.

I have never heard of any intake failing after a year.
yea my cheap-o bomz intake has been awesome, been on 3 years, never had a problem
"sometimes the respect is more important..."
The jbody crowd has intakes in spades from cheap ones all the way up to aem and rd fabs pieces of art. not saying these are better or worse just saying if you want a nich make somthing the jbody crowd wants but doesn't have.

if there are tons of 2.4L intakes then why isn't anyone selling them anymore??? from what I have heard there are only 2 manufacturers that are still producing them for the 2.4L LD9... AEM and RKsport... even the cheap ass ebay ones are hard to find

what you can do is make a cold air intake for those of us with the LD9 that have the 2.3L HO intake manifold swap. I would be interested in this
GMR has got nothing on this

Your getting knocked on because.....People like seeing your ACTUAL product. Not a similar product on other motors. Also to advertise a product you need to be at least a premium member. Also to run a GP ...if I remeber correctly you need to be a premium member. There are also many other companies that make the same product. Even if your product is far better, you need to PROVE it. J-body people hate paying money for anything. They like CHEAP. I think that cover some of the bases.

Gotcha, now i understand. Well i guess first things to do it buy the membership, then build the intake, then test it, then take pics. Honestly I dont think that i should have to buy a membership, lots of other forums dont charge, but I guess everyone has different rules. No worries, I will take care of everything.

Its called a pipe with a 90 degree bend. Doesn't get much easier than that.
every intake gives a +15hp gain at the crank............ dyno proof would be interesting to see
If you can do better than this, I'll buy it.
Like I tell everybody, make your own.
I did.
Oh and it's been tested, tuned, and proven on the 1320.
Build this for cheap and you'll have the market cornered.
Good luck with it.
