HO question
Friday, February 29, 2008 4:53 AM
Hey guys
I recently picked up a high output intake manifold. Now I have been hearing different things about it, from yea its a good upgrade to it would be a mistake to put it on. If I just change the intake manifold will I have any issues? If anyone can give me some info or ideas as to what I can do, or if i should just sell it...
Thanks for any help

it would be better to just use the LO manifold

either way you go, you need to get an adapter flange. now, there was a dyno test done that showed loss in power from the stock manifold to the ho with standard bolt ons. but the problem with this test is they did not allow any time for the computer to re calibrate for the increased amount of air. i personally installed mine, and i have felt a difference, but its just one of those things where i didnt dyno my car before vs after, so its just hearsay. but it by far looks better, and more importantly if you plan to boost, this manifold is a plus. it just depends on what you are looking for. the reasons of installing the manifold.

Yea I have the adapter flange already. I have everything i need i believe. I just need a new brake booster cable. I just wanted to make sure that this was actually worth my time installing it. Thanks for the input
