Ok, just want to see what everyone thinks of this:
-2.25" piping
-Borla Boomer muffler
-Thrush 24" resonator
-Magnaflow Cat
And a RKsport header later on...
Any opinions on this setup? Suggestions??
Also, if anyone here lives in Phoenix, AZ, do you know of any shops that will let you bring in the components and they weld them all together including them doing the pipe work????? Thanks guys

Are you going primarily for performance? If not, you could do dual with two resonators (I still want to hear that, it seems like it'd have a really nice rumble).
If you are doing it for performance thats a good setup (I'm assuming the cat is high-flow btw).

Sounds good to me. Make sure you use a resonator the bigger the better otherwise it is going to be loud and raspy. I also would not replace the cat. Just have the ends cut and the bigger diameter pipe welded to it.

id avoid this statement if you want a pissed off bumble bee. im doing downpipe, 2.5" stainless full exhaust, thrush 28" resonator, more 2.5" piping, and then into a dynomax super turbo muffler. its gonna be nice and mellow and deep. gonna sound amazing.

and your exhaust will sound like ass in a can, you wont be able to go through inspections, as well help out global warming with that nasty keeping things alive habit it has. seriously, worst advice ever.

I used to have a fiero...but it got into a fight with a tree during a bad rainstorm. Saddest day of my life.
Also, i would have to replace the Cat or else there with be a bottleneck in the system; too much resistance.

I would ditch the Borla Boomer in favor of a much cheaper Magnaflow. The boomer is a straight through design similar to regular magnaflows, where a normal Borla is a "turbo" style muffler. You can save yourself $100 bucks or more, for basically no difference in sound and performance.
