ok i was putting the aem tru power pulley on my ld9, and after i put the pulley on i put the belt on...it was 2 big because thats my luck...so whats the belt # that i need?thanx

maybe you have to adjust you belt tensioner? Im not sure, but sounds like it could be the cause.
You need to know the numbers off your stock belt. The last three numbers correspond to the belt length in inches. I would try a belt 1/2inch smaller and then go from there. For example if the last three numbers of your belt is 725. That means your belt is 72 and 1/2 inches long. Pretend there is a decimal point right before the last number. So if you tried a belt 1/2 inch smaller the last three numbers should be 720 and another half inch smaller would be 715.

i was under the impression that you couldnt really adjust it beacuse its spring loaded...yeh im going to try that tonight thanx wade

you shouldnt have to guess. youll probably get an answer here, but the first place you shouldve tried is AEM. they sell the pulley with a belt for a reason. They know exactly what size to use. stop guessing and do it right

You are right. There is no adjustment it is spring loaded.
