i have a 95 cavalier it dont charge all the time i put 3 alt on it and some times it charges and then it dont any help will be great

Check all your ground wires and the power wire that goes to the alt.
Check all of your connections related to the charging system too. Also: You might have some resistance built-up in some part of the wiring. Any signs of green on the strands by the terminals is pretty tell-tale...
