I have a 94' Cavalier that I race circle track. It has the 2.2 4 cylinder... I was wondering what the best power range in RPM's were??? I have an aftermarket tach on the dash but instead of using it for redline or rev limiter, I am going to use it for my power range...
I'm not 100% sure but I believe the power range with the stock cam is like 3600-5500....I don't know for sure though. That's where my "power band" feels like it's at.
you would probably hav to go and dyno your car to get specifics on where you make the most power and at what rpm. usually if you look for a couple dynos around your area they will have a dyno day or something to that extent, where you can take your car and get three runs for a low price or something to that effect.
