it is quite possible. Water will actually burn, do a search on it. However, the means of actually having a car run on water is no where near a reality, and probably never will be, unless we are using a hydrogen cell where water is the by-product.

Either way sounds like a hoax, kind of like those $110 electric superchargers on ebay, total scam.

i figured it was a hoax i was just wondering if it was actually possible because i know nothing about hybrids

Factory hybrids have electric motors with gas engines working together to power a car. However, they are WORSE for the enviroment than a standard car, as it takes 3X the energy to make the battery, than it'll use during its lifespan.

water is a by-product of burning gasoline, too. unfortunately, so is co2 and co. running an automobile on water will NEVER happen. hydrogen is another story.

The "water car" thing you are talking about does not burn water. Uses electrolysis to separate the H2 from the O. It then has your engine ingest the hydrogen, which does burn.

I heard a few years ago that some guy in Japan or Europe somewhere built an engine, with less that 8-10 moving parts, and ran on water. I was told GM gave him like 10 million for the design and destroyed everything

so technically it don't burn water but it does use water to run the engine?

It uses the hydrogen to help run the engine. Hydrogen runs stoich at 34.2:1 where as gasoline is around 14.7. The more hydrogen you add, the more lean the mixture. Meaning less fuel is consumed.

GM Makes a car that runs off water. Not in production, mainly cause of the cost. Isnt it called the Highwire or something???

Water does not burn, but the components of water; Hydrogen and Oxygen will burn once separated. Its the entire idea behind hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

All you need is a dielectric system to separate the 2 sources and you can burn them independently. The $50.00 will more than likely tell you just this. What it won't tell you is the solenoids you have to use to turn the gas on and off to time the engine, pressures to run at, etc, etc.......

Its information that is worth a lot more than $50.00. The input may be water, but its hydrogen thats being burned.

FYI: anyone wondering about this stuff should check out "browngas" turns out this crap has been around for a while and for many good reasons is not used.
