why is it when I connect my rksport tach adapter to my tach my car dies? i connect everything according to the manual and i can't get a freakin signal out of it
can this be because the tach is not getting switched 12V power??
the car starts, runs for a second and then dies... anybody? i know somebody knows this....

while that will drain your battery, no. sounds more like you've got the adapter wired wrong. i.e. the two wires you use to tap the coil hot are backwards.

no everything was right, except for the ACC power which i by mistake connected to purple (class 2 signal) wire, maybe that's what's caused the problem

Yup, that would trip the anti-theft system.
hell i don't know with this stupid class 2 system, this car has already given me so much headache...
