topfeed progress and q's

So i have a 95 2200 motor and i am starting with the head first its got a 5 angle grind job and a port and polish, anyways, i have a 98 2200 fuel rail that i am using for the topfeed conversion, my buddy gave me his fuel rail off his 03 corvette with the injectors that are 26ls injectors and are bosch. The injectors fit right in the rail and use the vette clips, and plug right into the 98 injector harness are the pos and negs right so i don't have to rewire the harness? the only labled injectors are off the vette not the wiring harness , there are markings on the 98 harness but not sure what they mean. also i made a spacer plate for the plenum to clear the injectors and i was wondering how high you can go with the spacer before you hit the hood i think mine will clear the injectors but the motor isn't in the car so i can't check for clearance.
thanks in advance,

Here is the plenum spacer i made today on the cnc machine, took about a hour or so just have to drill the egr tube, will probley use the right size brake line and flair it on the bottom to have a elongated egr tube that reaches.
comments welcome
thanks

ok so i just got done working on trying to get the vette injectors to work and looked on ebay at the redtops and browntops and saw that all those are completely round and the vetts are not, so i can't use em right? see pics for explanation.

thanks for the help everyone

What's the purpose of the top feed conversion? Unless you are raising the rev limit, the stock injectors are sufficiant to feed most N/A applications. If you're boosting, they are recommended/needed depending on individual application.

As for the spacer and hood clearance, I've go a 3/4" spacer with no interferance problems. I know there are a few who have 1" spacers, but I don't recall who they were or whether they had any interferance problems or not.

I'm not sure what effect the 4 hole spacer is going to have on performance. I doubt there is enough of an increase for runner length to see any increase in torque and there isn't much of a gain in plenum volume to increase the the higher rpm horsepower. I also think the square edges will hinder the air flow into the runners. Notice the stock runners have radiused throats, to allow the air to transition into the runners. I would have just cut the inside of the spacer to match an intake plenum gasket, which would increase the plenum volume and aid the higher rpm air flow.

Here's the trhead for my wooden spacer, which I'm still using.

Well I am not using the spacer looking to up the rev limiter but to clear the 98 2200 rail it worked fine and i am glad i made it because otherwise it wouldn't have cleared the idle spring or the throttle body, and the purpose of this topfeed conversion is for 15lbs of boost and a 150 shot of nitrous, do you really think i would be trying to do all of this just fo the hell of it? and i did use the gasket on the cad program for the spacer on the cnc machine.

I'm hoping that was only a 2-axis CNC? I agree with Jack, that spacer sucks lol.
pos/neg does not matter on injectors. Bosch is actually the only company to label them, and nobody knows why.

So what all is exactally required for the top feed conversion. I have a friend with a 2.2 who is wanting to put nitrous on and later go turbo so he was wanting info on this swap. I have been searching around and can't find alot of info on this. I have never payed much attention because I have always worked with the 2200.
