Performance Chip
Sunday, May 04, 2008 8:18 AM
I have looked for a performance prom (chip) for a 1994 Cavalier. I have looked forever for a chip that is for the 2.2 4 cyl. I have found one which is from here
http://www.car-stuff.com/mmparts/chevy-cavalier/performance_chip.html but they are out of stock and they say they will not be getting anymore. This was the only one I found for the 4 cyl and I cant even order it from superchips. I have found them left and right for the 6 cyl.... Does anyone know where I can get one for the 2.2 auto trans??? Also, would this help me in a 1/4 mile circle track??? Thanks in advance for all answers...

^^^if he has a 94 he could actualyl use a chip.

though i dont remember a 2.2 in 94 so maybe he is confused

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

It was built in 10/93 and it has 2.2 stamped on the engine.... I was wanting the chip to bypass the rev limiter and I cant find a chip.... Also I did search the other forums and cant find anything

I wouldn't advice bypassing the rev-limiter. If you really want to tune that engine your going to have to go megasquirt or give it an eco.

Try JEG'S, or search on-line.

Go beyond the "bolt-on".
