I can't seem to find a device that will simulate the post cat o2 on my 03 cav. A full exhaust is in the works, and I'd rather run a test pipe than a high flow cat. I realize that the header will not allow a cat from the stock exhaust to be used, and my emissions is good for two years, so hell, if I can why not?
If anyone has done this (do plug de-foulers work with eco?) any advice would be nice.
I don't want a CEL, and I'm firm on that, rather run a cat if thats the only option.
HPT can solve your problems.
find someone with the program, and they can deactivate the code. It'll never EVER come up and you'll pass emissions test as well.
you can get an o2 simulator from jegs or rk sport, you'll need the magazine from rk sport to get it i dont know why they dont have it on the site but i know its in the mag im gunna be needing one soon as well
Do a search for manual O2 sim. You will still need the sensor, but you will not have a code and it will cost you about $10
