super charged 2.2 ecotec

hey every one just wondering if anybody with a ecotec 2.2 put a super charger on it? And how well it works? and if a super charger from a colbalt ss 2.0 will bolt on to my 2.2

hahah chis no i doubt he searched either about the lsj sc it can fit but its alot easier to just buy the sc that fits your car and there are probably thousands who have sc eco j-body;s

But the thing with the ecotecs are that the supercharger goes on the exhuast side of the head. It pulls all the exhaust gasses out of the engine, allowing the cylinder to fill faster. Its a special quirk of this engine.

for most people, it's easier to buy the kit from GM (Part # 17800003) than to piece a kit together using Cobalt SS parts. Most people purchase their kits through paceperformance.com or crateenginedepot. If you want a reliable 200ish whp, then the kit is worth it. If you're looking to make big power numbers, then turbo is the way to go. All of this information could have been easily found with the use of the search button
