My buddy has a Venom 400 Control Module for a 98 z24 can i hook it up to my 02 ecotec lime green wire on the map and on the tb dark blue will this work or not..?
It doesn't do anything to our cars. So there is no point in putting it on yours. Do a search and you will found out those things are junk.

You would be better off spending the time that it would take hooking this up and CLEAN your throttle body. It will do more for you than this will.
he venom400 module gains ecotec's generally about 55whp... so yeah, go ahead and hook it up and enjoy!

Riddle me this... riddle me that...
it clearly gives gains.. this will hook up then even though its for the z24 this is what your saying

Im going off of what of what z yaaa said and my buddy that had it in and all the reviews if you guys say it doesnt then i dk maybe it doesnt, but i was told it leans the car out not adds more fuel which would make a little bit of sense adding more fuel wouldent without the right amount of air to accommodate, but leaning out would make a more violent explosion, idk im just asking if it hooks up its not like im spending the 400 dollars for it, why are people saying on reviews its giving them gain at higher rpm and some say its not at all then.. i dont care about the gain right now just want to know if it hooks up the same way
Z yaaa was joking with you.

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
ya i figured that, but my question still is not answered will this hook up forget about gains idc if it makes 55 whp or looses me 55hp im not asking the gain
i do not care i just want to know if it hooks up the same way into my car as it did the 98 z24
I never bothered with them and dont feel like looking up how it is connected to the Z. Why dont you tell us how it is hooked up to your buddies Z and maybe somebody will be able to tell you if you can waste your time hooking it up to your eco or not.
I said/ asked if its the blue on the tps and the lime green on the map sensor, is that the same wiring or is it different thats what i want to know.....
im not sure. but why would you even want this? it makes your gas mileage suffer

Is it the same color and same location in the connector in the other car? Regardless you are wasting time and risking damage to the car (depending on you skills at doing wiring) just to gain a loss in fuel economy and no gain in power.
It has the option to turn it on and off so its like being without it when its off, the way it connected on his car was theres a dark blue wire on the tps off the tb, and off the map sensor in the middle of the map theres a lime green wire.. i looked on my car its the same setup but i didn't want to wire it because theres 3 wires on the map and another sensor on the tb so it might be different wires and a differnt way to connect because of his being a 98 and mine being a different motor and an 02. So that said what do you think its the same or a differnt setup because of the motor and year change
how many wires on the TPS connector on your Eco? As far as I can recall the Eco and LD9 still have the same TPS and MAP wiring, but I could be mistaken. I dont own an Eco so I dont really pay that much attention to them when I work on one.
I still say you are wasting your time and run the risk of problems now or down the road due to messing around with the wiring on your car when you dont need to be.
I no theres 3 on the map i want to say 2 on the tps im not exactly sure on that but i know both of the wires i need to goto i saw both of them, and as far as problems i know how to wire and if i did have a problem i would know it's becuase of the venom so i would take it off, im not even positive im getting it or whats going on i just wanted to make sure the wires were the same on both cars so if i in fact did hook it up i wouldent turn my car on drive down the road and have it blow up because of 1 of the wires being differnt from the z24 to the eco
It's been dyno'ed by other car owners to be useless... but why listen to us? We only speak in reason... so...
Yes the wire colours are the same. Happy gas wasting!

you know, after your other post about the guy who sucked sand thru his engine to port/polish it... you may have better results if you try his method.
the 400 is JUNK. period, end of discussion. I know the answer to your question but I won't tell you because its a complete and utter waste of time and money.
go pick up a 25lbs bag of sand instead to port/polish the engine
Yes, you can wire it the same as the Z.
It is a waste of time and money. "Period"
