RKsport ECOTEC High Flow Intake install question

well- i just bought and installed an RKsport ECOTEC High Flow Intake, went fairly well even with the lack of instructions from rksport. one thing i had trouble with- was, there was a 2nd tube that connected to the stock air setup directly next to the O2 sensor. I couldnt find anything on the new intake where it could plug into, and it just seems like it takes filtered air elsewhere... anyone know what its to? what have y'all done w/it? ill try to get a pic of it tomorrow if no one knows what im talking about. i bought this one btw, hope someone can help. thx fellas

If you look on ur intake MANIFOLD, there is a nipple tha thsould have a plastic cover on it. take the plastic cover off, and plug the VACCUM hose into the manifold....

BTW, if the grommet for ur sensor is loose, use a little RTV to hold it in....thats what i did....WORKED GREAT.

awesome- found it and installed the tube this morn before coming into work-

but- w/that plug covering the hole already, what is its purpose? what would happen if it wasnt plugged in? im just curious how the plug is there and unused- kinda like that other plug thats near the O2 sensor that looks similar to a tire air valve.

thanks again fellas
