Ok, already know to get a new gasket. So that's cleared. Now, a lot of people are saying they have leaks at the ball joint. Should I just make a custom downpipe to weld to the ball joint???

MOUNTS FTW!!!! mine doesnt leak anymore.....make sure the springs are all teh way compressed....i had help from PaceSetter employees while doing mine. Hell i bought it straight from their factory....lol make sure the springs are all teh way compressed, and get it welded at the cat...
Ok, cool. I already have the TTR upper and prothane whoever lower mount. Alright, so i wanna do this myself but i dont have a welder nor do i know how. Is it not gonna be possible then, cause i dont think it's a good idea to drive an unsupported cat to the exhaust shop....

Oh yeah, i totally forgot their factory is up the road from me so i paid like 20 bucks shipping for UPS to bring it about 3-4 miles. grr....

is it a good header or what? cause the price is good....
it shoulda come with a clamp....clamp it up till u can get to a shop and spend 30 bones on a weld...i did...it will work...u will have leaks though til its welded....but then u'll love it...i promise
in the classifieds i have a used one for sale. you have to make a new cup for it. any exhaust shop should be able to make the cup.

THIS IS NOT CORRECT....all you have to do is get it lined up properly and ur good to go. lined up+weled=VERY NICE
i am having a ton of problems with my exhaust where the "downpipe" on the headers (btw i have a 2200 in a 99 sunfire) where the downpipe connects to the cat somehow it doesn't line up with the two rubber mounts and no matter what i do i cannot get it to line up... i've had it on my car for about a year and a half just clamped and dealt with the leaks but with inspections getting more and more tight in Pennsylvania i can't get away with it anymore and i cannot get the exhaust to line up correctly without offsetting the piping from the tunnel where it should be.. any help would be greatly appreciated (btw the springs are compressed on the ball in socket joint and i still have leaks as well) can send pictures let me know
