has anyone used them or have one on their j-body? i looked and searched and came up with nothing. im wondering how it would sound and flow. i do have an old one that i had ran on my pickup truck then i had swapped it onto my old 6cyl firebird. both of which sounded great with it, and the inside of the muffler is pretty wide open you can see all the way through it. seems like everyone either runs a magnaflow or a dynomax super turbo on the j-bod and i just like being different. opinions please........

they sound good if you run a Cat and a resonator, if your only running a resonator and the hooker they are alittle raspy IMO

yeah im still running stock manifold, downpipe and cat. this is on an 04 ecotec cavalier.

I have a 2.5" full exhaust.. i'm using said muffler.. it wasn't until i put a 24" resonator on it that i liked the sound it made.. when I don't have a tip on it and its nice deep and loud.. (i set off car alarms in open parking lots and i set off EVERY car alarm in parking garages) when i have a tip on it it shuts it up.. but makes it raspy at higher RPM's so i'm going with no tip.. i've heard my car pull away and it doesn't sound like anything around.. I like its sound.. i dont know how it will sound on stock pipe..

cant hurt to try it..
