I'm getting a p0137 code. Is this the sensor before the Cat or after the Cat? What brand would you recommend to replace it?
after the cat. use a stock OEM replacement.
edit: Bank 1 sensor 1 = exhaust manifold o2 sensor
Bank 1 sensor 2 = after cat o2 sensor

Are there any other OEM besides the dealership? I really don't want to pay over $200 for this.

There is other brands yes, but OEM is AC Delco. We have found that using OEM is your best bet. You can get a universal one for about $70 at autozone. It is not OEM. A few have had luck with them, others have not.

Is there a down side if I were to drive around with this sensor bad for awhile?

Yes there is.
Check Engine Light will be on. I'm not sure about you, but for me that just kills me to see that light on.

I called AC Delco and they quoted me $65 for it. This seems cheap compared to what adavance auto parts were selling it for .. $120
i put a bosh in my manifold, working fine. reads spot on.

With stock exhaust manifold, probably the top. With a header getting it from the bottem is best.
