From reading it Its a crock...even the jet performance module is a crock. The IAT can control air fuel ratio and timing but is not a reliable way of doing so. It gives the ecu false readings to bump timing and fuel but that doesn't necessarily mean power is gained. you can do the same by sticking the IAC behind the bumper oir somewhere with a cold air source for free. The only thing out there to manipulate our ecm that works is HpTuners software. Even then you will need a dyno and some tuning time to see any noticeable gains. Our cars aren't chipable like the obd1 cars unless you have a 95 which is obd1, if you have a 96 you have to rewire the whole car to get a tunable ecm, and 97 has what i think is called an Eprom which needs to be reflashed with the HpTuners software.
oh yeah. it works. EVERYBODY has one

Sounds like another resistor-trick to me, and we all know that idea is bunk.
^This "product" is the typical story with automobile systems operations & performance. Because of a lack of independent quality-control testing of new products before they're introduced to the market con-jobs like this are able to sell such worthless (And in some cases even harmful) junk like this. And the sad facts not only are they taking advantage of people's ignorance of how something they use everyday works, but this kind of crap has been selling for years practically since the automobile became a public mainstay. And as long as this former applies the later will continue to exist.
Get to know how your car, cell-phone & other technological stuff works, people. Once we all do that, no one will be duped into buying crap like this^. And when that happens, there won't be a market for it, and it'll just disappear.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
The IAT sensor has no impact on fueling in the J-Body PCM.
IAT only has an impact on timing. Too high of intake temp will result in timing being pulled......which doesn't improve power!
Here is the IAT Spark table for an LD9. IAT on the y-axis, MAP on the x-axis, amount of timing added/removed in the table.

Wow, thanks for posting that Shane. Now I have a clearer idea of why DMP's Cavy detonated at tip-in in traffic on that one hot day he spoke about. Funny thing about the LN2... Even though you think you could run it on 87-octane because of the way it's set-up (8.89:1 compression, aluminum head, EGR & Electronic Spark-Timing Control w/Knock-Sensor), it really won't let you totally getaway with it. Oh well! I guess 89-octane is about as cheap for the sake of piece-of-mind.

its a crock.....my girlfriend had it on her car for awhile. they show u that pic of the "little black box" that adds so much hp and after u order it u get a 30 cent resistor in an envelope a week later.
You can tell its BS when they don't know the years they are building for. Didn't realize there was an '06 Cavi. Good news if i get it I don't have to solder. Thats a relief.
Wow...just looks like a black tissue box with wires taped to the sides of it. Must have been someones kindergarten project.... fail

thats basically what this and other types of "chips" are for 3rd gen j-bodies. a little plastic box with a 10-30 cent resistor inside that you can get at Radio Shack.
