thanks i still dont know everything bout this car any help i can get is great
and im not tryin to get more power just try to get more mpg
check air pressure in your tires, dont go over the speed limit, and dont be heavy with the gas pedal....those are your free gas milage improvers.....i am sure theres a few similar to add on too...
full tune up, oil and filter change, new fuel filter, air filter, a little extra air in the tires, take anything out of the car you dont need, and dont use the a/c.

I'd add something, but I think you best bet as to what-to-do is this: Use "Search".
Go beyond the "bolt-on".

Not to mention performance from not using a/c...
Performance mods can increase gas mileage as the engine is just a large air pump and the easier it is to get air in and out of the motor, the less fuel is used.
The problem is, with performance mods, you also increase the ability to use more fuel.
If you drive like a granny with lots of bolt ons, you will see fuel savings.
It is too tempting to use the new toys and the mileage is usually worse.

^So true... Sotrue.

intake

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Free tricks that you can do would be get the dremil or drill with stone bit and do your own porting.
Get the exhaust manifold, and intake manifold off and start removing all the extra casting and smooth them out.
Match porting is also a good thing to do if you want to go the extra mile.
You can go to home depot and use the pvc pipe to make a ram air unit like I did for my Daytona.
It works good, but I cannot tell you if it was the fact I got cold air or if it was actual force of air giving me better performance. Not free, but it is cheap. Just route the piping to the stock airbox from under the car, use a drop in K&N too. You can also swap the baffled section of the intake with a smooth pipe to help flow.
Cut off the muffler? Maybe remove the baffles inside it?
Probably make your ears bleed for an extra 2hp though.

the pvc pipe on the intake is kind of a bad idea, it will release toxic fumes when it is subjected to the heat under the hood. but thats my two cents.
When in doupt, grub.
I had the pvc ram air on my Daytona for years.
If there was fumes, I did not smell any.
It probably all went under the car and away.
Some fumes probably went into the intake, but the car seemed to like it.

Mike85220 brings-up a good point about air-inlet mods: If you modify it to breathe easier (Better filter & what-not), doesn't it make sense to make sure the filter gets all the air it can breathe as the car goes down the road? In short: Scoop it! If it's located in front of the driver's front-wheel but behind the fascia panel, build a sizeable scoop to go in that corner of the fascia that faces forward to collect the head-wind the car will see as it goes down the road & an air-box around the filter that traps & collects the air around the filter. Is it under-hood with a short-ram? Build a box that will do the same & seal against the hood when it's closed beneath (again) a sizeable scoop that faces forward to collect the head-wind as the car goes down the road. It makes a difference, and any data-logging that you do with it in place will prove it. BTW Mike, where did you locate the collector-point of your PVC FAI (Fresh-Air Intake) system (The part where it takes air in)? And how?
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
