everyone ive talked to says that weldin stainless piping is a pain in the @$$. so what is the easiest way to connect a stainless muffler to a stock pipe?
You can weld to it with out a issue,The problem that will happen is over a long ass time because you used steel wire to weld it..It will Rust out over time...Almost every exhaust shop will use steel..So unless you find one with stainless loaded in the gun you will end up with some rust..I would not worry about it..If really concered clamp it..
Yep, find the
right reducer and clamp it. The shop i used to go to welded and than sprayed with a high temp coat to prevent rust - worked quite well.
