Hey guys,

does anyone know if there is a company on this planet or in our galaxy that makes cams for my 1990 Pontiac Sunbird GT 2.0L Turbo? I googled the subject and didn't find squat

, any help would be most benificial, much thanks, Devin.
how bout a regrind....like from crane or comp??
Hard-luck, man! You just fell victim to the oldest rule in hot-rodding aftermarket supply: Only make and/or stock what is currently most popular. I won't argue that the Turbo OHC 2.0L isn't a good engine (Heck, even I thought of using it in something other than a FWD-car myself!), but it's not currently the one of the most sought-after engines to build these days... Probably never was, really.
However, it may not mean you're SOL. Search on-line for Clifford Engineering, the most dedicated aftermarket performance supplier for smaller (Non-8-cyl) automotive engines out there. The guy who started the company has been at this since the mid-'60s & is still going strong today! Also try: 6=8. That's Clifford's motto & company slogan, meaning "From a 6-cyl you can get the power of an 8-cyl!", and improved fuel efficiency to boot!
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
You're looking for parts on the wrong continent. The 2.0 C20NE is very common in Europe, Africa, South America. It's typically found in Opel and Vauxhall cars. Look for Kent Cams among others, and make sure you look for parts for the SOHC engine, not the DOHC engine.
Oh, and make sure you're sitting down. The dollar just hit an all-time low against the Euro and prices may blow you away.
EbayUK Search
You could also spend some time on Migweb. It's JBO of the UK. Here's one short topic from someone looking to build a 2.0 8V engine:
http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/engines-transmission/363834-c20ne-tuning.html
Helps if you can read n understand "English."
Also, might help to look at the Daewootech forum. Many Daewoo cars use GM engines. Most of 'em use a DOHC version of the 2.0 family, but there are plenty of guys that know of parts for SOHC engines. You could try talking with Garrett, goes by gse_turbo, as he's started a business,
Daftart, importing Vauxhall parts.
Finally, beware of getting a reground cam from someone with no experience with these engines. The cam lhas a tricky grind on the lobe which can cause lifter pump-up. See
this article. I actually know someone who had a cam reground and ended up replacing it with stock to cure driveability issues.
