SMG is the way to go, and they are in America..so you do not have to pay customs fees.

Did you lose low end with this tb?
2003 Sunfire with 2 1/4 inch turbo muffler, 2 1/4 piping, 2 1/2 inch resonator, a 2 1/4 inch catalytic converter, 2 1/4 inch down-pipe, a ported LSJ manifold, E-bay strut brace, and an AEM true cold air intake NOPI edition.

There is a noticeable loss in the low end.

so is there a noticeable gain in the high end?
the throttle body helps wonders especially topped off with an intake. I have an reveco 62mm and it helped out. I do notice that there is a lot more push in the top end.. i didnt really notice the difference in the low end so i'm not sure if i lost much.

my carDomain updated 3/6/07 Boosted at B-day!
GM makes and sells alot of TB's
I just used the 75mm one from a 5.3 LS engine

of course i build a custom intake to go with it, lets call it a "bird catcher intake"

yes yes you did and its @!#$ amazing "that thing could suck in a humming bird and spit it out the exhaust couldnt it" hahaha
take mind of what the throttle body opening on the manifold is.
why get a larger throttle body if the opening is still the same?
isn't much room for porting either if my memory serves me correctly, could be wrong...
62mm on the stock manifold is pretty much the max you can go (again, if I remember right)

did you quote that guy from tri-state dragway, thats what he said, it was sooo funny! i just chuckled. yea i now have a 4" rubber scoop on it, i ordered it a few days before the bash but didnt come in in time, oh well still went 13.41 @ 103 and change
and just got back from test and tune at local track, ran 13.49 @ 102, then let the car cool down, going for the record run and broke yet another axle, we will be back

I like my custom TB...it may go up for sale in favor of something more like what Ben has though

MUAHAHAHAHA
62-62-62 IIRC. Very hard to do and only one way to make it work right. I think me and Roy and MAYBE PJ are the only ones who know the secret for getting an extra 2mm out of the TBs when boring them.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.
