I think it would give it a shorter more powerful curve
it would probably work best with the 2.4 cyl. head too

are u nuts, please look at the specs of any 2.3 cams vs. the 2.4 cams
theres a reason people put 2.3 cams in the 2.4....

I would have to disagree.
#1. people put HO cams in a 2.4 because they think there a better cam. well your just sacrificing duration for lift.
#2. everyone wants to do a 2.3 oil pump swap and delete the balnce shaft assembly. why not just use a 2.3 lower end?
#3. half the people that start to mod a 2.4 end up trying to turn it back in to an LGO.
#4. theres just no cam profile that has the high duration. like the 2.4 cams
well alright I figured it might of been worth a debate. but if you guys want to shut it down right away then fine.
Do it with dyno before and after and let us know. I'd be interested in seeing the numbers.

Ld9 cams are 198 duration @ .050 and .354 lift for the intake and 187 duration @ .050 and .345 lift for the exhaust.
No trade off for lift or duration.
Rumor has it there were some old Quads that came with 212 @ .050 and .350 lift. Perhaps thatd be more beneficial than the regular 2.3 cams. Why use them when HO's are 212 @ .050 and .410 lift?

2- because its not a 2.4.
3- Where does this # (half) come from? How does the extremely few changing cams and oil pump make the engine an LG0?
