ok so at 220,xxx miles my litle ln2 is starting to get weak. so im either going to swap in another ln2 or a twin cam. i was wondering if there was a wright up on the twin cam swap? and if i can use the stock ln2 5spd with the twin cam. also what wiring needs to be done exc.
Do a search for it... Check out my post in the 3rd gen forum... Better yet i'll and some of the ?'s since i started typing. No you can't use the tranny from the 2200 with a 2.4. And you will need a eninge harness from a 96 to 99 preferablly from 97 to 99 and a 97 to 99 2.4 5speed computer.
yeah if you go with the twin cam ull need
-engine
-2.4 transmission
-2.4 computer and harness
-u can use one axle from your ln2 but have to get the other from a twin cam cav. dont know which one though
def search this its been talked about alot and/or pm whitecavy. hes done this and is very knowledgeable

actually, if it's the 4 of 5 speed trans, the axles are the same.
if its the 3 speed, then you'll need the axles from the new trans.
