I want to buy a Cold-Air intake for my 2.2L Ecotech Sunfire. I was planning on buying the AEM Cold-Air Intake (p/n 21-448), but AEM's site says that they don't have a by-pass valve that fits this intake? Does anyone know if there is a by-pass that fits this intake? Has anyone had any problems because they didn't have a by-pass valve? Any suggestions as to other intakes to look into that would have by-pass valves? I tried searching for answers, but didn't really find anything.

Lanman31337 -F = fatties = do not want. A little chunk in the junk is ok though.

The is "sorta" what our short rams look like. I threw one together for fun to throw on my daily driver. The ones that make it to our customers are polished to a mirror finish ( Chris ( agentomega) above is amazing when it comes to polishing) and you don't see the weld lines that are exposed on this one and come with a different filter. They are also purged and tig welded. This one wasn't purged, just welded.







But you get the idea, they look good, made of T-304 stainless, lifetime warranty, Our own R&D making them so no hood clearance issues, and they perform.

Actually...I like the rawness of your DD's intake. Just gives a feeling of function over form...I love it
