Sorry if you guys helped someone before for this but I am not sure what went wrong with the swap, I used the 2.3 manifold gasket, L.O. manifold(cracked it but fixed with some hi-temp metal(some liquid stuff at Canadian tire), I used the MAP sensor from the quad, and left the sensors that were on the throttle body on and plugged my wires into it, But every time I try to start it the RPMs instantly rocket up to 6,000rpm, and thats without touching the gas peddle, I used the 2.3 throttle body, and throttle body cable bracket, I didn't install the cruise control yet, What did I do wrong? I really need the car up and running by Thursday(very important), any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated. ]
I'm sure those pics may help

you might check the brake booster hard line that is in the way when you installed, if this isnt reconnected it will rocket to super high RPMS and scare the hell out of you last weekend.. it happened to me lol..
so check that, and also the IAT, those two things were wrong with my install, and i plugged it back in and ran that brake booster vacuum back on and the problem was fixed.

Sounds like you have a very large vacuum leak. Are you sure you fixed the crack properly?
the throttle wheel looks like it could be quite close to the transmission bellhousing. Maybe make sure the wheel isn't being pushed on/held out of its normal resting position.
good news everyone I now have it up and running and all is well but how did you guys mount the cone? I know some people used the factory intake (plastic) tube, which is what I am "trying", but my cone will not stay on for some reason lol, but either then that all is well thank everyone that helped me out (some gave wrong answers but great to see people helping out ).

use that intake pipe you got on your sig...just cut it to fit...then connect that black elbow it comes with and you'll be good to go
GMR has got nothing on this
Didn't even think of the grounds as I have had all of mine under one bolt since probably 05. Come to think of it that is how long it has been since I have used a filter.............. I plan ob getting a cheap intake and routing it down to where my washer jug used to reside.
