okay i have a 2.2 2200 ohv and i have intake and exhoust
should i bore out the throttle body if so how much does that go for?
or should i port and polish the head and how much does that go for
just wanting to no what i could do next?
and i been looking but do they make lightweight underdrive pully for my engine?
thx on any thoughts what i should do?

Unless you're sportin' a big cam, or a F/I system, there's no reason for you to really consider inlarging the throttle-body.

Gasket-match the ports (At least on the intake side, unless you have a header w/primaries that are larger than the exhaust port) and you'll be fine there.

Someone here has a thread goin' 'bout making pulleys for the LN2 (Stock & under-drive), but there's no word on if he's made them yet. Always install them in sets, otherwise your alternator will turn too slowly & cause an under-charging condition with your battery.

And most of all: Use "Search". Many wonderful things will appear if you do.


Go beyond the "bolt-on".

gasket matching the intake side would be WAY to much porting....for sure....

you want to massage them out, but really just take out the major resistance areas in the runners.....not hog them out to beyond belief.

i think i saw somwone selling the underdrive set I origionally had in the classifieds. It is a rare find if you are interested.
