I know it's hard to change but i don't want to loose the car, plz help
Sorry for my english, i'm french
Guillaume, if i understand you correctly your saying you want to take the 2.2 from a 96 cavalier and swap it for the one in your 95, what you could probably do is do a search on here through the archives and see if you can't find the info you need and if that turns up nothing feel free to post again and i'm sure someone here will be more than happy to help you. Though i will warn you, Everyone and i do mean everyone on here is a huge advocate of searching the archives first and posting later. I realize your new which is why i am trying to cut you as much slack as possible, but just for future reference they do advocate the search first post later route Btw welcome to the org.
i tryed to search but i don't find how to change engine,, plz help me ?
Just take the engine out of the '96 and put in the '95 engine. That's all there is to it, it should bolt right in.
IF you need a step-by-step, buy a Chiltons, Haynes, or factory service manual.

True i'm sure they have detailed step by step information that would help you, though i am surprised that that is not something that would be in the archives on here.
plz, help me, i'm very poor in english, help, find a link, i tryed and the research give 0 responces
Thank
ok Guillaume since you tried the archives already from what you've said in your last post, i would probably go the chilton route next, if you have an auto parts store anywhere near you ie auto zone napa checker auto etc they sell those books. Get one for the year of car your working on ie 95/96 and in there it will give you picture illustrations of how to do the engine replacement, in fact most of the books i've seen as i recall even break it down into sections for you so once you find the chapter on engine replacement you can go right to the section you need ie 9.28 a or 9.35 or 7.24 etc . and usually under those it will say stuff like remove these two screwsand remove such and such, hopefully this will be of some help to you Guillaume.
thank, my cousin have already change this type of engine,
Thank again
Not a problem my friend, just remember what i said before from now on use the search archives first and only if that turns up nothing post and someone will be more than happy i'm sure to help you.
