Well getting ready for my turbo install I'm taking off my fuel rail so I can tap it and install a fuel pressure gauge, my question is how do I get the hoses separated from the connectors that are closest to the firewall? I romoved the holder that pops off but there seems to be something else holding it together. Is there a special trick to separating the lines?
you need a fuel line removal kit. they are plastic and snap over the line then slide up to release the collar inside. i think they are called fuel quick disconnects

close it on the line, push it into the connection and pull the lines apart. The way the lines connect is there is a ring on the outside of the male end, and the female end is filled with little fingers, the tool holds the little fingers up so they clear the ring and you can seperate them.
Any parts store should carry the quick disconects
Vince beat me by not even a minute lol
Lol well that's good to know that both of yall jumped at the opportunity to help me out on the quicks lol I figured itd have to be somewhat of a specialty tool because I couldn't see any other way of getting it off of there short of yanking it off and damaging the retainers inside. Thanks for the help guys!
Oh and I just looked at the link and I have seenthem at my local autozone I think they have them like vince said in plastic and the ones u posted also darkstars, again thanks for the help guys
