i was considering buying this muffler for when i put together my exhaust system and i wasnt sure how it would look on my 04 fire, so just trying to get some feedback on what people may think of the new look thanks.
muffler
I hate the look of turn ups in general. I say go straight out.

little bit of everywhere. most parts stores sell flowmasters, magnaflow ect. or there is always places like summit racing, jegs and even ebay. depends on the sound you want

true i didnt even think to look on jegs yet they usually have some decent stuff and its prob gonna be loud not rice loud but a nice deep loud if that makes sense
Out of all three I think the Vibrant looks the best.
I have an IMCO pro series muffler from hearthtrob and a 3 inch universal tip painted black. The muffler is similar in design to a flowmaster 40. It sounds great on the ecotec. And the muffler is reasonably priced. I personally wouldn't get the straight through type you've pictured so far, but thats my choice. They are louder and tend to be more 'ricey'
Trevor Blesh-Ya the vibrants definitely real nice but also rather expensive
whiskerbiscuit- where did you get your muffler at? just so i can check it out
Heartthrob exhaust. I don't remeber the website off the top of my head. Its not like the ones your looking at, its actually a muffler with chambers. You will need a seperate tip. If someone can tell me how to post a sound clip from a phone I'll get one up.
The cherry bomb vortex muffler is extremely similar to the IMCO, and your local auto parts store should carry it for around $80-100.
ya i have no idea how to do that but id like to hear the clip if you figure it out and i guess thats not a bad option ether thanks
ok so i bit the bullet and got a magnaflow muffler i also got a magnaflow high-flow cat and an 18" resonator all 2.25" My new problem is i cant seem to find anybody that will mandrel bend 2.25" SS pipes, i even called custom tubes inc and they said they wont do it and i also called midas which was just dumb b/c they told me some ridiculous price to get it done.
so basically i need suggestions on where to get my piping? Thanks
BroSpeed muffler. Back in Black has them on his car and it sounds mean. not that loud either, but a bit of a rasp on start up.
that vibrant muffler looks like the same muffler they use on their cat-back system that i have.

It is the same one and i didnt order everything yet i was about to when i found that i couldn't get the pipeing bent that i needed, so i still havent had any luck with finding a place to do it.
So i was wondering, custom tubes inc has the 2.50 mandrel bent tubing would it better to try and find a place to bend me 2.25 tubeing or just go with a 2.50 exahust set-up?
