I recently put a new set of spark plugs into my 2005 sunfire and I seemed to get an under idle when I draw too much power...mainly when the AC was on. So I got a new set and so far it runs fine. I was wondering when I took out the old plugs which were like a month old...They were burnt up and one had the resistor bent...I did have platinum in there and I just put in Iridium, any idea why the platinum ones messed up???

damaged and you never checked them???? i know some people just drop them in and thats it never gap or check them
