Might be getting a SS/SC header.

Will it bolt up to the 2.2 ecotec? Will I see a difference in gains/sound? Im gonna be getting a dp/catback combo sometime soon, so a better free flowing header for free would just help the cost.

They said on cobaltss.net the guy tried putting it on a 07 2.2 but it was the same. Since mine is an 04 cavalier, I would assume the new header would be better.

let me know asap. before he gives it to someone else.

get it regardless. If it doesn't fit, then sell it on here in the classifieds.

I got the pacesetter header for the ss/sc cobalt, and I got a 2002 cavalier ecotec and it bolted up perfect.so the stock ss/sc manifold should work, but why a stock manifold?

the ss/sc manifold primaries and collecter are both larger, i have one that I ran on my car for a while its better than stock but not as good as a real header, I have ported it out the entire way through as well, I ll sell you mine for $65 + shipping if you want it,

Theres two votes for that. I have the LSJ header on my L61 and I LOVE it. Since I did the swap from the L61 header, EVERYONE that has driven or been in my car has noticed the difference without me saying anything. The idle is different, but better IMO, the exhaust note it a ton better, and the high end gains are AWESOME!!!

Now keep in mind, that the LSJ pacesetter header IS NOT C.A.R.B. legal on the L61...(except mine and one other) so use at your own risk...

You sure about that Rodimus? You still have to be able to prove in most states that the product is carb legal for your state...I know that on Pacesetters website is says that the LSJ header IS NOT carb legal...so just info for people to check into...

I just got lucky and happened to aquire one with the jbody carb stamp on it...

I will be installing the LSJ pace setter header armor coated eventually.

Bolts up exactly the same.

i had the cobalt header on the skwirl too

fit just fine.

stock is a bit of a mystery, but at the least you could use their manifold with the stock jbody downpipe.
